February Vacation Week at Loon Mountain Resort.
LINCOLN, NH (Feb. 8, 2016) - February vacation is all about escaping the daily grind to enjoy some of the best skiing and riding of the winter. At Loon Mountain Resort, guests will enjoy the most open terrain in New Hampshire and a week filled with fun events for the entire family. Skiers and riders will also benefit from New Hampshire's most powerful snowmaking system, as Loon continues to aggressively resurface terrain heading into the vacation week.
Friday thru Monday, Feb. 12-15 | BMW xDrive Experience - Become a snow pro at the BMW Winter xDrive Experience with individual instruction from professional drivers.
Saturday, Feb. 13 | Lil' Tweakers - Little snowboarders can go big, too. That's the idea behind this mini-shred competition sponsored by Crab Grab and High Cascade Snowboard Camp, where riders will spin the Wheel of Grabs and perform different tricks for cool prizes.
Saturday, Feb. 13 | LL Bean Bootmobile Mountain Tour- Get outfitted by L.L. Bean by visiting their Bootmobile. Stop by for games, giveaways, and chances to win L.L. Bean gear.
Saturday, Feb. 13 | Bunyan's Legendary Nights: Shut Down Brown - Head over to the Paul Bunyan Room for a legendary time with Shut Down Brown, a band that bridges the gap between classic ‘90s R&B and its predecessor, ‘70s soul. Doors open at 9 p.m. No cover, ages 21+. Sponsored by Bud Light.
Sunday, Feb. 14 | Lil' Plankers - Lil' freeskiers unite! This is a high-energy, maximum-fun jam of jumping for kids 14 & under. Sponsored by SPY Optics and Windells Camp.
Sunday, Feb. 14 | Kids' Night Out (Valentine's Day) - A fun-filled kids' night complete with pizza party, ice skating, and more! You're welcome, parents.
Monday, Feb. 15 | Kids' Karaoke - Kids take the stage and channel their inner-American Idol at this fundraiser for the Lin-Wood Skate Park. 5-8 p.m. at the Octagon Lodge.
Tuesday, Feb. 16 | Buddy the Clown - Get silly and goof around with the one and only Buddy the Clown! 1-4 p.m. at the Octagon Lodge.
Wednesday thru Friday, Feb. 17-19 | Fluorescent Nights - Make the most out of February vacation by lapping the Burton Progression Park at night. A ticket is required, even for New England Pass holders. 6-9 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 18 | Snowshoe & S'Mores - For a totally unique family après experience, guests will ride a chairlift to mid-mountain and take a guided snowshoe tour to the rustic Camp III lodge. Once there, they will feast on delicious hors-d'oeuvres, hot cocoa, and s'mores around a crackling fire. At the end of the night, guests will snowshoe back down the mountain under a starry sky.
Saturday, Feb. 20 | Kids' Night Out - A fun-filled kids' night complete with pizza party, ice skating, and more!
Saturday, Feb. 20 | Buddy the Clown - Get silly and goof around with the one and only Buddy the Clown! 1-4pm at the Governor Adams Lodge.
Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 20-21 | Salomon Ski Test - This first-of-its-kind camp lets dudes demo next year's Salomon skis long before their buddies. In addition to testing select 2016/17 models alongside Salomon reps and Loon pros, guys will also learn the finer points of DIY tuning and boot fitting.
