DUES AND PROMOTION

  • We work aggressively throughout the year to maintain a high visibility for the White Mountains in North America, and, increasingly, around the world.
  • To do that, we:
    Operate the White Mountains Visitor Center at the intersection of the Kancamagus Highway and Interstate 93 in North Woodstock, which assists more than 150,000 visitors year round.

    Operate our own distribution system for our brochures, with our own truck and driver (White Mountain Mikey) to keep rest areas and businesses stocked with information on the White Mountains.

    Maintain one of the most complete and active color slide files of any agency in New Hampshire for use by editors, writers, tour companies, and brochure designers

    Represent the White Mountains at travel and sports shows in the Northeast and Eastern Canada

    Maintain contact with travel writers and photographers.

    Work closely with Discover New England, the international marketing office for the six New England States and the NH Office of Travel & Tourism Development

    Supply story ideas and press releases to travel editors

    Organize familiarization tours for the media, travel agents, tour brokers,

    AAA offices, and information brokers, both domestic and foreign
