North Conway, NH – Cathedral Ledge Distillery was recognized by The Tasting Alliance at the Top Shelf 2025 Awards Gala, which highlights spirits that earned double gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Cathedral Ledge Distillery is proud to announce that all five of their spirits that were entered into the competition were awarded medals. Their Bottled In Bond Organic Bourbon and Organic Maple Liqueur received bronze medals; the Organic Gin earned a silver medal; the Bottled in Bond Organic Rye received a gold medal; and the Organic Barrel-Rested Gin earned a double gold medal. The Organic Barrel-Rested Gin was also named the second best Barrel-Aged Gin in the world. The double gold medal is earned by spirits that unanimously receive gold medal ratings by all of the expert judges during the blind tasting. This is a particularly esteemed honor given that the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is considered the most prestigious spirits competition globally. Founded in 2000, the competition is the oldest and largest in the industry. In 2025 the competition received over 5000 entries from 73 countries.


Owners Christopher and Tracy Burk, who live and work in North Conway, attended the Top Shelf 2025 Awards. The two day event brought together master distillers and industry professionals from all over the world. It was a weekend full of educational opportunities, networking, and celebrations of those who are making outstanding spirits internationally.
