Glen, NH (March 31, 2026) – New Hampshire’s first and only aquarium, Living Shores, will open its doors after hours on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, for its first-ever Earth Day Party.  Guests of all ages are invited to celebrate Earth Day with interactive exhibits, immersive hands-on activities and crafts, and educational opportunities centered around protecting planet Earth.

Earth Day Party will be the first of its kind hosted by Living Shores – a special ticketed, all-ages event offering guests an opportunity to visit the aquarium from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Visitors can enjoy all of Living Shores’ usual exhibits, plus participate in unique activities geared toward sustainability and conservation, including a trash-to-treasure craft station, planet protector passport challenge, and conservation pledge opportunity.  A variety of additional activities are included with admission, and educational resources will be available from New Hampshire Fish and Game and other local groups.

Fun, festive, aquatic themed mocktails will delight younger event goers, while adults can enjoy craft cocktails, beer and wine at the Bistro, plus a full lineup of delicious eats available for purchase. Admission to Earth Day Party is $24.99, and guests interested in getting an even closer look at the residents of Living Shores can feed friendly stingrays or curious tortoises for just $5 more. Tickets to the event are on-sale now at livingshores.com/buy-tickets

For the first time ever, Living Shores Aquarium is introducing an all-new Annual Membership program. Beginning today, guests can get unlimited admission to the 32,000 square foot indoor facility for an entire year when they purchase a membership online or upgrade at the aquarium. Annual Memberships offer exciting benefits like free parking, 10% off purchases in the gift shop and Bistro, and Annual Membership holders will save $5 per person on Earth Day Party admission at the gate. The Living Shores Annual Membership is currently offered at $49.99 for a limited time.

“With our first-ever Earth Day Party, we’re creating a fun, hands-on way for families to celebrate, learn, and take part in conservation together,” General Manager Chris Kearsing said. “The launch of our new Annual Membership allows guests to stay connected to that mission year-round, returning again and again to deepen their understanding of marine life and the importance of protecting it.”

Located next-door to Story Land Theme Park, Living Shores is an interactive educational venue that has been delighting guests from the White Mountains and beyond since 2019. In addition to the aquarium’s newest exhibits, the Crittertarium and alligator exhibit, it is also home to stingrays, turtles, sharks, tropical fish, native species and more. Living Shores Aquarium hosts daily talks at various exhibits with its education ambassadors and animal care team to help to inform visitors of all ages of sea life living around the world.
