Jefferson, NH – Santa’s Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire, will open on May 24th and May 25th for the park’s 73rd summertime season, and it remains family owned and operated by the third generation of the family that created the park in 1953. Memorial Weekend in 2025 will be the first season opener to include the new Midnight Flyer family roller coaster, which officially opened to the public in mid-June last year.
The Midnight Flyer transports riders over a winding track delivering a feeling of flying with reindeer, just like Santa does, with a lift hill climbing over 40 feet and a top speed of 25 miles per hour. Wide seats and individual lap bars for each rider allow a large range of adults to comfortably and safely ride side by side with children as small as 36 inches tall.
In addition to the Midnight Flyer, all four sections of Santa’s water park are scheduled to be operating right from opening day in 2025. Enjoyment of the roller coaster and water park are included in the price of admission, along with multiple other amusement rides, visits with Santa and his reindeer, two indoor shows, and other attractions, as well as free parking.
Following the opening weekend, Santa’s Village will celebrate halfway to Christmas with three weekends of the annual Jolly June FEASTival event. Food and soft drinks are included in the price of admission during Jolly June FEASTival special event dates, on Saturdays and Sundays from May 31 through June 15. The Santa’s Village regular summertime operating season runs every day from June 16 into late-August.
Attendance at Santa’s Village is limited each day to minimize waiting and create a more enjoyable visit, and admission is sold online only. A new ride featuring firehouse dog vehicles is currently under construction to replace the recently retired Red Hot Racers rafts, and the Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree swing ride is also scheduled to open a bit later in the season after a full refurbishment is completed.
