Conway, NH – As the winter season approaches, interest in skiing and winter getaways starts to peak. Ski New Hampshire has collated some tips and deals offered at New Hampshire ski areas to make skiing accessible to as many people as possible and help families plan an affordable winter ski getaway.

Many travelers can save right off the bat by choosing to ski in New Hampshire where more than 30 alpine and cross-country ski areas provide a diversity of terrain, services, and events, all located less than a “tank (of gas) away” from many metropolitan areas like Boston, Portland, ME; Providence, RI; and Manchester, NH.

Families with children in the 4th & 5th grades can capitalize on Ski New Hampshire’s 4th & 5th Grade Passport program, designed to provide an affordable option for parents to introduce skiing and riding to kids. At just $59, the passport offers students access to one lift ticket or trail voucher at each of Ski New Hampshire's 30+ member ski areas. Parents and other family members can also find discounted good-any-day Ski New Hampshire tickets to Dartmouth Skiway for $25, McIntyre Ski Area for $40, and King Pine Ski Area for $62. These 2024-25 season tickets are transferrable (so can be given as gifts) but are available only while supply lasts.

Many ski areas offer special promotions on certain days of the week or night skiing to help families and others save money while beating the crowds. Young children, college students, seniors, and family members of military personnel or veterans can also take advantage of other deals that offer significant savings. Many ski areas additionally provide group discounts.

Ski NH features a special “deals” page on SkiNH.com where the following deals are conveniently summarized and where guests can find updated information. Rates and specials are subject to change. It is always best to check the website for updates before making travel arrangements.
