The North Country Chamber Players are putting on a Gala Fundraiser, Concert and Dinner at Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa, Whitefield, NH on Sunday, June 1. The event will celebrate Musical Friendships! Guests will experience an inside look at how performers and composers use music to forge friendships, foster dialogues, and inspire creative learning opportunities, both in person and across time and space. An ensemble to include piano, flute, oboe, horn, violin, viola, 'cello and double bass will perform the music of J.S. Bach and others.

How fitting then that this evening will be a tribute to pianist Bernard Rose, an exemplary musical friend. Bernie will be honored for his four decades of artistic excellence, tireless commitment and personal dedication to the North Country Chamber Players and the communities they serve.

The Players will also honor a new friend, Sam Natti, Principal, Lisbon Regional School with the Fritz and Eleonore Kramer Award for the Advancement of Music Education in the North Country. Sam Natti has demonstrated exceptional support of the Education and Outreach programs of the North Country Chamber Players. Further, on Saturday, May 31, via Sam’s leadership, Lisbon Regional School will also host the Chamber Players’ annual Explorers Concert, a program offered for no charge to the entire North Country community, specifically designed for children, their families and friends, and the curious, of all ages and musical backgrounds.

The Gala Concert and Dinner is an important fundraiser for the North Country Chamber Players. A raffle and silent auction will be part of the event due to generous community donors. Proceeds will directly impact the North Country Chamber Players ability to provide "Pay-What-You-Wish" performances, outreach and education.
