Be sure to join the North Country Chamber Players for their exciting fall concerts when they will welcome the newest member of the Chamber Players family, pianist Reiko Uchida. Ms. Uchida will perform one of her signature solo pieces, Chopin’s powerful Ballade in F minor. Opening the program will be Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 2, one of four works he composed for the Mozart’s father’s close friend, horn virtuoso Joseph Leutgeb. Artistic Director, Ronnie Bauch’s father, Jason, was a Cantor and composer. In this 100th anniversary of his birth, the group will perform his string quartet on Jewish themes. Closing the program will be Dvorak’s beloved Piano Quintet, Op. 81, one of the most celebrated chamber works of the Romantic repertoire, known for its masterful blend of expressive lyricism and Czech folk elements, which Dvorak somehow found time to write in between raising six children with his wife Anna, who also played the piano and sang.

Concerts will be held at 2pm, Saturday, November 15, Sugar Hill Meeting House and Sunday, November 16, Mountain View Grand Resort, Whitefield.

The North Country Chamber Players performing will include Reiko Uchida-piano, Bernhard Scully-horn, Ronnie Bauch-violin, Ah Ling Neu-viola and Chris Finckel-violoncello. Guest violinist Isabelle Ai Durrenberger will join the ensemble.

The North Country Chamber Players have adopted a “Pay-What-You-Wish” ticket pricing for concerts. Seating is limited – early free, online reservations are encouraged. The recommended ticket price is $25, payable at the door, but there is no minimum ticket price required for entry.
