The North Country Chamber Players will put on interactive performances in early October in Bethlehem, Colebrook, Errol, Franconia, Lisbon, Littleton and Pittsburg.  School audience profiles will range from all school assemblies to targeted band programs. The Players work with Music Teachers to customize programs to their needs.

School outreach is a robust and integral part of the North Country Chamber Players mission. Several times per year they put on creative, interactive educational outreach programs tailored to the needs and wishes of schools. The primary goal is to reach youth with exposure to inspiring professional musicians sharing the chamber music repertoire.

The following Players, a woodwind quintet, will travel to the North Country to put on these programs: Kemp Jernigan on oboe, Susan Palma-Nidel on flute, and Bernhard Scully on horn. Guest musicians Cynde Iverson on bassoon and Kelli O’Connor on clarinet will join the Players.

The North Country Chamber Players have been impacting the North Country for over forty-five years. Recognized as one of New England’s finest musical ensembles the North Country Chamber Players present world class chamber music concerts, on a Pay-What-You-Wish basis, and many free education and outreach programs for children and adults of every demographic at schools, community centers, summer camps, libraries, and local businesses throughout the North Country. The Players continually look to new and innovative ways to expand the cultural reach of their programs.

The North Country Chamber Players have just announced their fall concert, “Musical Royalty.” Saturday, November 16, 2pm at Omni Mount Washington Resort, Bretton Woods and Sunday, November 17, 2pm at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield.
