ABOUT
Get ready for a wildly funny and surprisingly heartfelt adults-only comedy where The Grinch's beloved Cindy Lou Who is all grown up, fresh out of jail, and living in a trailer park. Join Cindy Lou as she recalls that fateful Christmas Eve when she first met the Grinch and the twisted turn her life has now taken.
Starring as Cindy Lou Who is Marisa Kirby. A two-time New Hampshire Theatre Alliance Award winner (The Story Goes On and Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls), Kirby is a genuine triple threat who has dazzled Weathervane audiences over eight seasons, portraying iconic leading ladies like Cassie (A Chorus Line), Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors).
Charming audiences the past two holiday seasons with her portrayal of Cindy Lou Who, Kirby is thrilled to return as everyone’s favorite resident of Whoville.
“Playing Cindy Lou Who has been an absolute blast,” exclaimed Kirby. “I’ve always loved The Grinch and grew up watching it. Getting to take on this role feels like stepping right into my own holiday tradition, but a very twisted and grown-up version, of course! New Hampshire during this time of year is so magical, and I’m really looking forward to season 3 with the adults of the North Country. It’s the perfect way to kick back, laugh, and take a break from the seasonal stress. We deserve it!”
Weathervane Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini directs Who’s Holiday!. The additional creative team includes Jeremy Baldauf (sound and lighting design), Rien Schlecht (costume and production design), and Hannah Showalter (associate designer). Rien Schlecht stage manages the production. Who’s Holiday! runs 75 minutes with no intermission and is recommended for adults only.
Who’s Holiday! is part of Weathervane’s holiday season, which runs from November 28 to December 6, 2025, at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa’s Presidential Hall. Additional holiday season titles include The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe and Miracle on South Division Street. Weathervane’s holiday season is sponsored by Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa.
