Holiday Trains at the Conway Scenic Railroad-December 26-31

Enjoy an old-fashioned train ride in holiday style! Trains run twice-daily, and you can experience the beauty of the White Mountains from the comfort of a perfectly restored 1920’s train car. All aboard!

Cranapalooza at Cranmore Mountain Resort-December 27-30

The resort-wide, fun-filled apres celebration is geared towards the whole family. Now bigger than ever, you'll find family entertainment, famous s'mores and DJ dance parties in Schneider Square with C-More the Penguin, face painting, family games and activities, giveaways and so much more.

Torchlight Parade and Fireworks at Cannon Mountain-December 30

Enjoy an afternoon and evening of fun, music, and entertainment. Live music in the Cannonball Pub, bouncy house, a movie for the kids, and the Torchlight Parade are followed by a brilliant fireworks display.

Ride the Mount Washington Auto Road Snow Coach -Open for the season (call ahead for availability and weather conditions)

Travel to tree line on Mount Washington (approx. 4,200 feet) in a Snow Coach which is outfitted with tracks to accommodate the snowy Auto Road. At tree line, you can hop out of the Coach in order to snap some pictures. The view can vary depending on the weather, but it is a winter adventure to not miss out on!

Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center-Open for the season

Spend the day in the great outdoors at the Great Glen Outdoor Center. Whether you love to cross-country ski, snowshoe, or go tubing, there is something fun for every member of the family.

December Vacation Camp at North Country Climbing Center-December 26-29

This fun and adventurous Vacation Camp includes Gymnastics, Rock Climbing, Swimming, Games and more! Camp runs daily from 8am-4pm for ages 4 and up. Come as many days during the week as you would like. Siblings receive a 10% discount.

Pinkham Notch Snowshoe Tours at the Appalachian Mountain Club's Joe Dodge Lodge-December 26-31

Take a 1-2 hour walk with an AMC Guide, and look for animal signs, and other natural wonders. These are fairly easy walks to local points of interest. Dress appropriately for the weather, and snowshoes will be provided. Space is limited, so book ahead.

Kid’s Yoga with the Grinch at Live a Little Fitness-December 28

Come see how well the Grinch get into the Downward Dog position! Your child is invited to a fun, flowy holiday themed Yoga class with the Grinch. Your kiddo will jump into down dog, slither into snake and strike a yoga pose with the Grinch!!

Bruce the Moose Birthday Bash at Waterville Valley Town Square-December 30

Bruce will be handing out cupcakes at 1pm for his birthday! Bruce is also putting on his scavenger hunt! Team up with family and friends to find all of Bruce’s items in the base area. Sign up on the first floor of the Base Lodge at the Guest Service desk between 9-10am to participate for a chance to win some awesome prizes! Participants will be given a list of items to find and a pen and will have to mark off all the spots that Bruce has hidden his items. Return the completed map to the Guest Service desk by 2pm for your teams chance to win!
