Ferris Wheel Events and Happenings

Rubber Ducky Regatta-North Woodstock

Come to the 21st annual (almost) World Famous Rubber Ducky Regatta! This family-friendly event is one you won’t want to miss! Head to Cascade Park on Monday, September 4 at 10 am, and watch over 2,000 ducks float down the Pemi River! Ducks can be adopted online at, or on site the day of the event. There will be face painting, games, and other activities happening during the event, and your duck also has a chance of winning a fabulous prize, donated by local lodging properties, restaurants, shops, and attractions.

146th Annual Lancaster Fair-Lancaster

The Lancaster Fair has been a White Mountains Labor Day tradition for 146 years and is one of northern New Hampshire’s largest events. The fair runs from Thursday, August 31 to Monday, September 4 at the Lancaster Fairgrounds. The fair marks the end of summer with entertainment and family-friendly activities, while celebrating the area’s unique cultural heritage. There are farm animal competitions, games, carnival rides, motorized competitions, food, top of the notch music performances and so much more! Comedy at Jean’s Playhouse-Lincoln

End your Labor Day weekend with a laugh by heading to Jean’s Playhouse Comedy Night featuring comedian, Jim Colliton. Jim has performed in New York City’s: Gotham Comedy Live and has toured the US on his Lawn and Disorder Tour. The event will also feature Boston comedian, Ken Reid and will be hosted by Local comic, Greg Boggis. The night kicks off at 7:30pm and tickets are $20. Tickets are available at

Waterville End of Summer Bash-Waterville Valley

Waterville End of Summer Bash: begins Friday, September 1and runs through Monday, September 4. Events include: kid’s games, face painting, live music on Town Square, charity duck race across Corcoran Pond, a live Animal Encounter Show presented by the Squam Lakes Science, and fireworks!

Memorial Hospital Fun Run at Storyland-Glen

Memorial Hospital of North Conway is inviting school aged students to take part in their 5th annual Fun Run at Story Land on Monday, September 4. Runners will receive free admission to Storyland and an event t-shirt. This Fun Run is for kicking off the school year, and for Memorial Hospital’s “Let’s Go” health and education activities for children in the Mt. Washington Valley. Bretton Woods Labor Day Festivities-Carroll

Bretton Woods Labor Day festivities run from Friday September 1 to Monday September 4 and include; the Labor Day Hero 5k, the “Take Me Out to Bretton Woods” whiffle ball game, and even a Labor Day Selfie Scavenger Hunt. Guided Evening Lantern Tours at Lost River Gorge-North Woodstock
