We’re thankful for a lot of things and the fact that Thanksgiving is nearly upon us is one of them. We are looking forward to family, friends, and spending some quality time outdoors in the White Mountains. We are also thankful that there is some fun, holiday, winter themed events happening over the Thanksgiving weekend and you’re invited to join in on the festivities. Christmastime at Santa’s Village Nov. 26-Nov. 28
It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year at Santa’s Village and a visit to the park will certainly give you some holiday cheer. About a million lights will illuminate the park and many of your favorite rides will be open. Online tickets are required for this seasonal event, and dates will book quickly. (Event runs Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 13-Dec. 19, as well as a special Thanksgiving date of Friday, November 26).
Warren Miller’s Winter Starts Now-Friday, November 26
Warren Miller is back with “Winter Starts Now,” featuring the best snow riding, from the mom-and-pop ski hill down the street, to the highest peak on the horizon. Take a road trip through the Rocky Mountains, experience classic New England skiing, and hitch a ride up the coast of Alaska. Coming to the Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center this November.
Comedian Juston McKinney at the Flying Monkey-Saturday, November 27
Local comedian, Juston McKinney returns to the Flying Monkey for a night of laughs and lots of new material. McKinney is sure to impress with jokes about the Granite State, parenthood, and more.
Santa Comes to Town and Tree Lighting Ceremony-Jackson-Nov. 27 & 28
If you need a little Christmas spirit, head to Jackson over the holiday weekend. Santa will ride in on his sleigh to make his seasonal debut at the Jackson Village Gazebo on Saturday, November 27. The Jolly Old Elf will also be around for the Jackson Town Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 28 where there will also be refreshments and hot cocoa.
Ski Areas Opening
