Cranapalooza Winter Festival at Cranmore Mountain -March 3 and 10
Cranmore guests will enjoy a variety of fun family events throughout the resort in addition to snow tubing, mountain coaster, giant swing and soaring eagle zip line operations until 8pm
The resort-wide, fun-filled apres celebration is geared towards the whole family. Events include family entertainment, famous s’mores, DJ dance parties in Schneider Square with C-More the Penguin, face painting, family games and activities, giveaways, and so much more.
Snowshoe Yoga at Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring -Sundays in March
Enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning by taking this tour that combines snowshoe and yoga along Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring’s beautifully groomed trails. The fresh mountain air, beautiful scenery, and the peace and quiet of the woods will relax and rejuvenate you.
Hearthside Dinner at Remick Country Doctor Farm and Museum -Saturday March 10
The evening begins with costumed Museum Interpreters guiding guests back in time to learn about 19th-century kitchens and food preparation, seasonal farming and foods, and historic cooking recipes and tools. Guests then assist in preparing, seasoning, cooking, roasting, and baking foods using traditional means-all in the process of creating an authentic, seasonal farmstead meal. Sit down together to enjoy the fruits of your combined labor. A BYOB-friendly event.
NH Maple Experience at the Rocks Estate -Weekends starting March 17
Join the Rocks Estate for guided tours of their sugaring operation including horse drawn and tractor drawn rides, tap a maple tree with the group, learn the history of mapling, attend a chef demo about cooking with maple, visit the NH Maple Museum, and sample maple syrup, pickles and donuts.
Kids combine their love of snow and cardboard boxes at this annual rite of spring. Watch as wee folk glide down the mountainside in cardboard boxes they’ve transformed into helicopters, moose, and pirate ships. Registration begins the morning of the event at Governor’s Lodge.
Character Breakfast Series with Believe in Books Literary Foundation -Saturdays in March
Meet some of your favorite Storybook Characters during each fun-filled breakfast! Have a tasty breakfast with a new group of friends enjoying 100 Acre Wood Maple Syrup. Fill your plates, gather around the stage, and enjoy a storybook reading with a meet and greet to follow. Guests will also have use of the 100 Acre Wood Trail System for the entire day.
