Complete Your Summer with Comedy at Jean’s

With the Broadway musical Seussical running through August 25, and more Mainstage productions to come in September and October – Always…Patsy Cline and Driving Miss Daisy – Jean’s invites you to a million laughs on Labor Day Weekend.

Host Greg Boggis will unveil the Labor Day Comedy Show on Sunday, September 2 at 7:30 on the Mainstage at Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln. Boggis, a New England favorite and the Hippo NH Honorable Mention Comedian of 2017, is Jean’s comedy night producer and comedian in his own right. For the Labor Day Comedy Show he’ll be bringing two popular standups: Marty Caproni and the evening’s headliner Paul Nardizzi.

Nardizzi has appeared on Conan O’Brien and Comedy Central, and is one of the most requested acts on XM Satellite Radio. He made his start in 1990, quickly becoming a Boston area favorite and a national headliner within four years. Known nationally for his rapid-fire comedy style, Nardizzi can be seen performing in clubs nationwide and in corporate, charity, and event parties.

A published author of several humor books, featured on CD/DVD, both he and Boggis can also be seen in “The Strange Name Movie”, now showing on Netflix.

Marty Caproni will round out the trio of comedians. His career keeps him constantly on the road, and this is a great opportunity to catch his brand of humor honed by appearances across the country. He’s won contests and festivals, he’s performed in arenas, theaters, comedy clubs, universities, banquet halls, bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, military bases, tents..even an airport lounge. He’s opened for great comics like Russell Brand, Tracy Morgan, Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, Jim Breuer, and more – as well as headlined at places like Foxwoods Casino, Comix Comedy Club, Madison Theater, and Funnybone. And on September 2, he’ll add Jean’s to his growing list.

Jean’s Playhouse is, of course, home to the North Country Center for the Arts and special events and top notch shows and events are part of the year round entertainment, professional theatre, and youth programs housed in their Lincoln, NH theatre.
