Jean’s in Lincoln is the North Country’s Center for the Arts – which includes top flight comedy on Sunday, September 1. Comedy host and producer Greg Boggis is back, with two stand-up comics for one show only.
Joe Yannetty draws on his travels, his Italian heritage, family situations, and Boston blue-collar upbringing to bring family-oriented comedy to audiences around the world on television, in films, and appearances from Caesar’s Palace to Radio City and the Kennedy Center. Joe is a familiar voice and presence on the Boston scene, including a stint as a morning show radio personality. He wrote and appeared in the HBO movie Suckers, and has written for and toured with Rosie O’Donnell. And while you may remember Ed McMahon’s “Star Search”, you might not recall that Joe was victorious over another now-familiar comic, Drew Carey.
Frank Santorelli is an Italian-American who is best known for playing the recurring role of “Georgie the Bartender” in The Sopranos, and starring roles in film, including The Godfathers of Comedy. You may have also seen him in numerous movies like No Reservations, Meet the Parents, and Crooked Lines. He has headlined at some of the world’s most famous comedy clubs from coast to coast.
Host Boggis is also a familiar and popular presence on the New England comedy scene. He is Jean’s house comic and comedy event producer, and has a popular monthly comedy showcase at Fody’s Tavern in Nashua.
