Glen, NH - Story Land opens Saturday May 23 for its 62nd season! Opening day will feature the debut of Rory, the Dino that leads Roar-O-Saurus around the track. Roar-O-Saurus, the ever popular wooden coaster, was the highlight of Story Land's 60th anniversary season. Joining Story Land's cast of popular characters that include Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, and Duke the Dragon, Rory the Dino that found his roar riding Roar-O-Saurus, will be featured daily in shows and pathway appearances.
Roar-O-Saurus provides children of all ages the experience and memory of riding their first ‘big' coaster with Mom or Dad, or vice versa,” explains Story Land's General Manager Eric Dziedzic. “Our niche in the theme park industry has always been young families with children 2-12. To our delight, the new coaster expanded that demographic slightly, and quickly became a favorite to children of all ages, and added to the family memories created here in the Land Where Fantasy Lives.”
In addition for 2015, Story Land welcomes Dunkin Donuts to its array of food choices. Dunkin will feature its signature coffee and Donuts! A new Ice cream shop opens in the Dutch Village with 20 different toppings and an array of options including make your own sundae! Close by, the Whistle Stop Gift Shop is all new featuring a Conway Scenic Railroad Train G Scale replica cruising around the interior!
