North Conway, NH — The Eastern Slope Inn will celebrate its 100th Anniversary with a week-long series of events from July 11–18, honoring a century of hospitality in North Conway.
The Eastern Slope Inn has been a defining landmark in North Conway since 1926, welcoming generations of guests to the heart of the Mt. Washington Valley. Originally opened as a grand hotel during the rise of mountain tourism, the hotel was lost to fire in 1902 and then again in 1925. The current resort has evolved over the decades while preserving its historic charm. Today, it stands as a unique blend of heritage and modern hospitality, continuing a tradition of memorable stays, family gatherings, and lasting connections for nearly a century.
The Centennial Celebration will feature daily themed experiences, blending the Inn’s rich history with interactive events for guests and the local community.
Highlights of the week include:
- July 11th: A 1920s-themed Kickoff Celebration
- July 12th: Celebrating North Conway & Joe Berry Day, including community service, a social gathering, and jazz.
- July 13th: Heritage Day: Then & Now. Be part of the unveiling of a new history exhibit and immersive experiences.
- July 14th: Family Fun Day with games, BBQ, and family-friendly activities
- July 15th: Taste of the 20’s, including afternoon tea and vintage-inspired events
- July 16th: A 1920s Immersion Experience, highlighted by a Gatsby-inspired murder mystery dinner presented by Mystery 207 (ticketed, limited seating)
- July 17th: The Centennial Gala is a black-tie signature event with dinner, live jazz, and special presentations in 27 North at the Eastern Slope Inn.
- July 18th: A closing Legacy in Motion. Join us as we fill and bury a time capsule that will be unearthed again in 2076.
