Franconia - New Hampshire

Franconia, New Hampshire is a small little town nestled in the White Mountains. Franconia is home to the northern half of Franconia Notch State Park. In Franconia Notch, you can take a trip to Echo Lake Beach and rent a boat or go swimming to get out on the water, visit the Old Man of the Mountain Profile Plaza, and tour the Flume Gorge with its rocky walls and 800 foot gorge.

Franconia offers an abundance of recreational opportunities too. Hike to be rewarded with one of the most photographed waterfalls in the White Mountains, Bridal Veil Falls. 

Take the path less traveled through the Franconia Notch State Park and discover all that nature has to offer with towering trees, flowing water, and the sound of wildlife.

The rich history of The Frost Place, former home of poet Robert Frost and the New England Ski Museum provide great learning experiences for all ages. The New England Ski Museum presents a timeline of the development of skiing and displays the five Olympic medals won by US Ski Team member Bode Miller, a native to the area.
