Take an after-hours chairlift ride to the summit Meister Hut - a magical Yuletide meeting awaits! Cranmore Mountain Resort is hosting Santa plus you for cookies, cocoa, and a holiday story. If you’re lucky, you might even spot Santa and Mrs, Claus rolling in on a one-of-a-kind ride: a SnowCat!

BELIEVE IN BOOKS LITERACY FOUNDATION (Intervale, NH)
Do you believe in the magic of the holiday season and a good book? Take a “Journey to the North Pole” with the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation! This White Mountains nonprofit is hosting its annual holiday train trip at two different locations: the Granite State Railway (Lincoln, NH) and the Conway Scenic Railroad (North Conway, NH). Board the train at your location of choice and you’ll be whisked along for 2.5 hours of festive fun, including elf sing-a-longs, a dramatic reading of “The Night Before Christmas”, a visit to the North Pole, and a meet and greet with Santa Claus.

MOUNT WASHINGTON COG RAILWAY (Marshfield Station, NH)
The ride up the Mount Washington Cog Railway to Waumbek Station is one of our favorite winter traditions. This year, we're making it extra festive and planning our visit around Santa. Did you hear he's going to be at Marshfield Station, giving out gifts made on-site by the Cog Railway elves and also posing for pictures? Book your tickets online if you'd like to combine your train trip with a Santa Cog visit on the weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What better place to celebrate Christmas than a town called Bethlehem? Christmas in Bethlehem returns Saturday, 12/6 with plenty of seasonal splendor, including live music, visits with Santa and the Grinch, community meals, an Illumination Parade along Main Street, and a dazzling fireworks display.

Take part in Jackson, NH’s signature holiday experience, the Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour. Waterville Valley is always a great hub for holiday fun in the White Mountains.
Kick things off on Saturday, 11/29 with a Santa visit at the Waterville Valley Adventure Center (no fee, suggested donation) from 3:30pm – 7pm, followed by the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony (led by Santa!) and a dazzling Firework Display at 7pm.
Then, enjoy Alpine Advent, a European-inspired Christmas Market, select dates from now through New Year’s Eve! This special event taking place in Town Square includes twelve heated wooden chalets, artisan vendors, seasonal food and beverages, and festive décor beneath the mountain lights.
