General admission varies, with prices ranging from $19.99 midweek to $27.99 on weekends, but guests can save up to 25% when they book online. If you live locally or often visit the White Mountains, consider purchasing an Annual Membership for just $49.95.

Living Shores Aquarium has a great variety of exhibits to keep all ages delighted, including their newly opened Crittertarium. This feature will get you up close with lizards, turtles, and snakes!

Enjoy the Alligator Exhibit (and see if you can spot Tina, a 50 lb. Common Snapping Turtle), and take in the sights of the Coral & Great Barrier Reef, Tropical Reef, and New Hampshire Lakes exhibits. Living Shores also boasts a new Shoreline Exhibit showcasing common species you’d find along the Maine and New Hampshire shorelines (like lobster, crabs, and snails).

Other notable animals you might spot throughout the aquarium include Axolotls, Tortoises, Iguanas, Jellyfish, Tree Frogs, Leopard Geckos, and more.

Yes! Living Shores has several interactive touch pools, including their ever-popular Stingray Touch Pool, the Large and Small Invertebrates Touch Pool, the Bamboo Shark Touch Pool, and the Red Garra Touch Pool (also known as nibble fish – dip your hands in if you want to be tickled silly).

To get extra up close with Living Shores’ amazing animals, reserve a time to feed a Stingray or Tortoise. These animal interactions will be the most memorable part of your time at the aquarium, and only cost $9.99 per feeding!

We typically suggest budgeting two hours or so to explore the aquarium, but you could easily spend half a day here if you include a meal at The Bistro, shopping in the well-stocked Gift Shop, and attending a Daily Talk or signing up for a Stingray or Tortoise feeding.
