Zip n’ Za – name a more iconic duo. We dare you!
If you are exploring the White Mountains this winter, make your way to Lincoln, NH for a ziplining-meets-woodfired pizza extravaganza. Alpine Adventures and Alpine Pizza have teamed up for a great promotion this season: zip and dine on the same day and receive 10% off your food!
What can you expect from this fun way to shake up the day?
Let’s start with the best zipline tour in Lincoln: the Winter Skyrider. This stellar ziplining experience will send you racing through snow-frosted forests and across open stretches of bluebird skies with mountain views. Along the way, guests will encounter 5 ziplines, 4 suspension bridges, a racing zipline, Alpine’s longest, highest, and fastest zipline, and their longest ground-to-ground zipline.

Did you know the Winter Skyrider tour combines four of Alpine’s favorite summer zips into one unique course? Even if you have visited Alpine Adventures during the summertime, this winter experience will feel markedly different.
As you can imagine, ziplining in the winter requires a little extra preparation. Wear insulated pants or snowpants, snowboots, and other season-appropriate items like gloves, an insulated jacket, and maybe even a balaclava. Alpine Adventures will provide the other essentials, like a helmet and harness, during the check-in process at Alpine Adventure’s headquarters (41 Main Street in Lincoln, NH). Expect a formal weigh-in and orientation, followed by a shuttle to nearby Barron Mountain.
At the base of the mountain, you’ll board a Pinzgauer (a six-wheeled Swiss Army conveyance) to ascend to 1,700’ – from there, enjoy the tour!

After a couple of hours, it’s on to part two: dining at Alpine Pizza. This cozy restaurant is steps away from Alpine Adventure’s headquarters, so you won’t have to wait long if you’ve worked up an appetite in the winter cold.
With a solid selection of beers on tap plus cocktails, apps, and creative wood-fired pizzas, it might be hard for you to pick just one of each from the menu. Woodoven wings seasoned with rosemary, crushed red pepper fresh lemon, and maldon salt make for a great starter – but garlic knots, pretzel bites, and meatballs are also perfection if you’re after comfort food. The pizzas? All excellent. Standouts include the Elote Smoked Chicken (with garlic oil, cotija and mozzarella cheese, charred corn, lime, jalapeno, chipotle aioli, and smoked chicken) and the Zipline (with maple syrup, green apples, bacon, cheddar cheese, and balsamic glaze).

But in keeping with the theme of the day, we’d say BE ADVENTUROUS! Why not try something new?
We’ll see you in the mountains.
