CATHEDRAL LEDGE DISTLLERY (North Conway, NH)
From looking for Pumpkin People to enjoying scenic hikes and attraction adventures, you'll find that fall things to do in North Conway, NH are endless. But what to do after a flurry of foliage activities? We'd say unwind with a Fig and Cider Martini from Cathedral Ledge Distillery. This gorgeous cocktail captures the essence of fall thanks to the rich, earthy sweetness of figs and the crisp, spiced flavor of apple cider. As seasonal cocktails go, we find that the combination of spice, sweet, and freshness makes it a perfect sip for cozy autumn gatherings (and we suggest you boast that the Organic Fig Infused Vodka is handcrafted right in North Conway).
CHRISTMAS FARM INN & SPA (Jackson, NH)
The Christmas Farm Inn & Spa is one of the coziest places to stay in Jackson, NH. While we could wax rhapsodic over their full-service Aveda spa and the hand crafted cottages with fireplaces (as well as all the wonders of Mount Washington Valley waiting just outside your front door), this season we're all about the sweets found at at 3North, their onsite restaurant. Our top pick? Spiced Sugar Donuts and a Local Apple Cider Gelato. Together, they make for a dreamy fall duo, and even more so when the cider is locally sourced from Minard Farms.
COMMON MAN (Ashland and Lincoln, NH)
The Common Man family of restaurants embraces each season in New Hampshire, but can you blame us if we're partial to their special fall menu? We're hard pressed to pick a favorite from this revered dining establishment, but the Apple Pie Empanada and Autumn Flatbread are certainly high on the list. Fall fans will have to wait until September 30th, 2024 to enjoy the latest iterations of autumnal eats, so start planning! Fall menu offerings will be available at all six Common Man-named restaurants, including Lincoln and Ashland, NH.
RHYTHM HANDCRAFTED BEVERAGES (Lincoln, NH)
It's #ciderseason, and we are more than happy to celebrate! Head to Rhythm Handcrafted Beverages in Lincoln, NH for their take on Mulled Cider. It's a mix of Rhythm's award-winning hard cider and Seven Birches Winery's mulling syrup (which includes mulling spices from Woodstove Kitchens in Meredith, NH plus citrus and sugar), and it's heated up to heartwarming perfection. There's a certain joy in cupping a glass of mulled hard cider in your hands after spending time in the brisk mountain air, and it's rivaled only by the lovely, spiced scent of fall wafting all about. Why not sip slowly to best savor that seasonal feeling?
WOODSTOCK INN BREWERY (North Woodstock, NH)
Here, here for pumpkin beer! The Woodstock Inn Brewery's whimsically named pumpkin beer, Ermagourd, is infused with fall flavors from start to finish. The ingredients that go into this can't-miss fall beer include 90 pounds of pumpkin puree and everythign from Saigon cinnmon and allpsice to roasted cacao nibs and organic Sumatra coffe from Granite Ledge Coffee, served on nitro. We won't spoil the whole flavor profile though - instead, head to the brewery for a tour or a pour.
